Unlike most of our competitors, our suppliers are part of the Leather Working Group which audits its members annually according to rigorous environmental standards as well as being part of a small exclusive group of master artisanal tanners called the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.

The leather in our Minimalist Wallet is sourced from a family owned tannery in Tuscany where they use a tanning process using natural tannins. Most importantly, it doesn’t use any harmful chemicals in the tanning process. The exact tannin composition is a well kept family secret.
This careful tanning process results in a long lasting leather that develops a rich patina with time and use.
Technically all our models are minimalist, but this is our best selling wallet and was our original design reducing a regular billfold to half its size, yet it fits as much as a regular billfold.
Some customers found it annoying that they couldn't use quick access cards or subway cards without having to remove them from the Leather Minimalist Wallet so as a compromise, the minimalist wallet only has two RFID-blocking pockets. These are the two large outer pockets on each side; this is clearl marked when you open the wallet for the first time.
Try to keep the Leather Minimalist Wallet away from any oils and direct exposure to moisture; as water can cause leather to warp or discolor. If the minimalist wallet does get wet, gently wipe off the excess water and let it air dry naturally.
